When Charlie's rocking chair was delivered, Jack was a little envious. So, his Mom asked if I could paint a rocker for Jack...a Boston Red Sox rocking chair. This family is a huge fan of the Red Sox! In fact, Jack's name is "Jack Fenway", named (of course) after Fenway Park.
I began looking for another rocking chair that would compliment Charlie's. It took a while but I finally found one. And it's a pretty good match. Jack's seems to be a little bigger, but that's okay...it's a guy's rocker! But the best part of all of this was seeing Jack's face when he saw his red rocking chair. His face absolutely lit up and a beautiful smile indicated I had hit a home run! He immediately sat down and started rocking and with his arms he "rolled".
So, this one's for you, Jack Jack! I wish you many days of watching the Boston Red Sox play ball, and many mornings of cartoon-watching in your red rocking chair.
